Terms & Condition of Appointment

At JCCPL, we believe in transparency and mutual understanding between employer and employee. Below are the key terms and conditions of appointment that apply to all team members joining our organization. These terms & condition are designed to ensure clarity and consistency while supporting a productive and respectful work environment.

1. Position & Responsibilities

Your designation, reporting structure, and key responsibilities will be clearly outlined in your appointment letter. You are expected to perform your duties diligently and in alignment with company goals and values.

2. Probation Period

New employees typically undergo a probation period, the duration of which will be specified in the appointment letter. During this time, your performance and conduct will be evaluated. Successful completion may lead to confirmation of employment.

3. Working Hours

Employees are expected to adhere to the company's 9 working hours (8hrs working + 1hr lunch). Flexibility may be offered based on role and department needs, in accordance with company policies.

4. Compensation & Benefits

Your salary structure, including basic pay, allowances, bonuses, and any performance-linked incentives, will be detailed in your offer. Additional benefits such as insurance, leave entitlements, and wellness programs will be shared separately as part of our employee benefits guide.

5. Leave Policy

Employees are entitled to various types of leave, including annual leave, sick leave, and special leave, as per company policy and local labour laws. Leave requests must be submitted in advance and approved by your manager.

6. Code of Conduct

All employees are expected to maintain high standards of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality. Any breach of the code of conduct may result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

7. Termination of Employment

Either party may terminate the employment by providing written notice as stipulated in the appointment letter or by payment in lieu of notice. Grounds for immediate termination include misconduct, violation of company policy, or legal infractions.

8. Non-Disclosure & Confidentiality

Employees are required to maintain confidentiality regarding all company information, client data, and proprietary knowledge acquired during employment. This obligation continues even after the termination of employment.

9. Conflict of Interest

Employees must avoid activities that create or appear to create, a conflict between personal interests and company responsibilities. Disclosure of any potential conflicts is mandatory.

10. Amendments & Updates

The company reserves the right to revise the terms and conditions of employment in line with organizational and legal changes. Employees will be notified of any such updates.
